Give your outfit a twist

Hosiery can nowadays be found in every possible color, texture and design. Although, I love unique items I would never really go overboard when it comes to hosiery....Black or some other dark color, opaque or not, plain or with delicate designs- usually is what fits my clothes best. I have the feeling that hosiery is outthere to complement an outfit, rather than act as the focal point.(okay, well I will make an exception - look at the one on the right) Nevertheless some hosiery manage to still be simple and give a twist to an outfit. What do you think of them?

This is a makeup inspiration post. Whether you like Kim Kardashian or not, you must admit that she usually wears gorgeous makeup. She is the "queen" of smokey eye looks and neutral lips, although she has chose various dramatic looks for photoshoots or events.

Now, honestly arent these the prettiest pointy toe pumps you have ever seen? I cant even compare them with other brands... their shape is so elegant and erotic at the same time....The question is which version to pick (?!) Thumbs up for this all time classic fashion (or should I say style) item.

My new cosmetics

Yesterday, it was probably the first time in Greece some stores had a 35 percent sale on selective high end cosmetics and skincare. As you can imagine -since this offer was on for just one day- you couldnt't even enter these stores...they were so crowded!

It was amazing that brands like Shiseido, Givency, Estee lauder, Lancome, Christian Dior and YSL (Chanel just had a 10%) had such a sale, even in their new collections! I must say that I am really proud of myself, because although I wanted to purchase soooooo many things, I was really very selective and conservative in my purchases beause I honestly have way too many cosmetics! 

So, these are some of the products I purchased:

This is the first time trying all of these products except from the Payot products which I have used in the past and were amazed! In the following posts, I will let you know what I think of these products and the new fomulation of Payot's Pate Grise and Speciale 5!

Be cool with Rayban Wayfarers

The Ray-BanWayfarer sunglasses are trully a myth!

There is so much history behind these shades that for some reason whoever wears them, immediately becomes stylish! These are not just another pair of sunglasses, they are a legend ever since 1952 when they were first manufactured. They enjoyed early popularity in the 1950s and 1960s, faded by the 1970s, and came back strong in the 80s. Nowadays, once again they are enjoying a revival. 

You wont buy the wayfarers to beautify your face, you wont buy them to hide your out of bed phase or a late night up.....and finally you wont buy them if you are after the aura of a sexy mysterious woman hiding behind her large black shades... But I can guarantee you that, you wont find many glasses offering you so much style and coolness!!!! 

To be honest, I do not really recall the last time I saw someone wearing the wayfarers and said to myself “wow, they look so great in this face”. It is quite rare to find people that really suits them, both because of their face structure and the overall style. But, on the other hand they were not really designed for such purposes........

Audrey Hepburn, one of the best fashion and style icons in history chose a similar pair of sunglasses in the movie breakfast at Tiffany's, which to be accurate did not belong to Rayban but to Persol! If you do not already own a pair of Wayfarers than I would recommend investing in one, not only because they are one of the most enduring fashion icons of the 20th century, but because they are quite affordable and for some reason keep coming back to fashion every 20 years or so!
