Spring Lipsticks

Isn't it about time we moved on to brighter, happier, bolder lip colors? In case, you you dont want to go bold and bright, at least go shiny.... and I mean really shiny.

Here are my suggestions for this spring:
Shiseido shimmering rouge in rs 308 Iron Maiden (purple shade on the left)
Estee Lauder (new) pure color in Rasberry Pop (fuschia shade on the right)
Chanel Rouge Coco shine in 48 Evasion (pinky beige on the centre)

March Skincare Wishlist

Just a day later, I am back with a skincare wishlist....
These 5 products are definately must haves, and they come first in the list of priorities since no makeup looks good on poor skin, right?
(Going from left to right clockwise)
Just a few days ago I discovered the Pure Transformation Night Treatment by Bare Minerals. It is an overnight mineral treatment that claims to replenish the skin while you sleep. According to the company it dramatically reduces the appearance of pores, evens skintone, and improves skin's texture. What amazes me is that it comes in four different shades -which means that it provides some color and coverage- isn't that amazing. I mean dont we all want to look gorgeous when we wake up next to our beloved ones?????? YES!Oh, and one more thing, it won't come off on your pillow. The product is free of Parabens, Sulfates, Synthetic Fragrances and Dyes, Petrochemicals, Phthalates, GMOs and Triclosan.
Garnier's Caffeine eye roll-on is a very affordable product that actually works really well on dark circles while massaging the eye area. It hydrates this fine delicate area while it hides dark circles, acting as a light concealer.  Those of you in homeopathy, avoid this high caffeine consistency product!!!
Payot's Rides Relax is a wrinkle corrector with an amazing silky texture. After trying a sample for a few days I can tell you that this stuff really works....I only used it during night time between my eyebrows just because this past month -under a lot of stress- I had the tendency to frown in my sleep. In the morning, I noticed that my skin was very smooth in the particular area. After all the product is supposed to "relax skin micro-tensions caused by stress, stimulate collagen synthesis to correct the deepest wrinkles and promote the skin’s neuro-protection to relax and illuminate the complexion."
Attention, unlike the previous product, the Rodial Glamoxy snake serum pen is not affordable! Imagine paying more than 130 euros for 25 ml of product! But, girls it may well be worth it.... and I am saying maybe because I havent tried it on my skin. All celebrites love this botox pen which instantly lifts the face, freezes muscles and plumps fine lines and wrinkles, but I unfortunately dont have a personal opinion I can share with you. The only reason I would like to try this pen is because of the frowning problem in my sleep I mentioned previously!!!!
My final product is also from Rodial and it is the the Glam balm. I have heard soooooo many great things about it I find it hard to believe that it is no good. What I find very exciting about this product is its versatility. I mean you can use it in the face, lips, neck or even hands. I used a sample and found it to be very nourishing, although slightly oily for my skin texture. Once again the main reason for me wanting to get my hands on this product is the frowning during night time, although it worked wonders on both my dry and slightly chapped lips and hands! Additionally, everyone is saying how well it works as a pre and post flight moisture mask and how constant use can reduce fine lines and wrinkles and increase the lip volume!!!

March Cosmetics Wishlist

Hello sweeties....
Sorry for not posting lately but I have been so busy with work and studies...
After visiting a large beauty store in Greece as well as a MAC store, I fell in love with three products that I definately want to add to my collection!
Shiseido came out with the perfect refining foundation, which was mainly developed for normal to combination skins. According to the brand, the foundation blends away all imperfections (pores, acne scars and roughness), it is resistant to sebum and it lasts for fifteen hours. Oh, and did I mention that it is good for your skin? (with regular use it helps improve skins roughness). I cannot guarantee any of the above characteristics, but I can definately tell you that the foundation melted on to my skin -to the degree that I could not spot where I had tested it- leaving it super soft and quite matte. I personally adore Shiseido's foundations because they never make me break out, they dont feel heavy on the skin and they have a wonderful warm color variation !
My second choice, MAC's superslick liquid eyeliner comes as no surprise... When these eyeliners first came out with the feline collection, I bought most colors but the black. Now few months later, I am delighted to see it among the permanent collection, cause it is trully among the best liquid eyeliners out there! I love that it is sooo black, water resistant and very precise in application. Moreover, it dries quickly and it gives a wet-look result- enough with matte liners!!!!
Finally, YSL's  Rouge Pur Couture lipstick in Le Fuschia no7 is probably the prettiest fuschia I have ever seen. Unlike most hot pinks, this one has a warm tone to it that perfectly complements my skin tone. The color payoff is very intense, it has a satin finish and a great lasting power without drying the lips. (I can guarantee that cause I already own the Rose Bergamasque no6)
